Truck Sales Operations Strategic Pricing & Analytics within Volvo Trucks European Regional Value Chain is now looking for a Price Analysis Manager who wants to be a part in developing and take our analysis capabilities to the next level. We are a creative team with responsibility for strategic pricing and analytics for Volvo Trucks European value chain. We are collaborative, inclusive and open-minded with excellency and customer orientation in focus with everything we do.
Your responsibility and main tasks
Your responsibility will be to use your analytical skill set to develop insights and analysis on a wide range of topics such as pricing, sales, product and financials. Strategic Pricing & Analytics are leading activities for Power BI development and design of business insight analysis for wide business use. You will have direct contact with the different sales areas and also assist other team members with price realization activities to improve and secure long-term profitability.
Your mission includes:
Continuously improve commercial analysis in a fast-moving environment
Innovate and expand analysis to further deepen new trucks sales insights
Assist the sales areas with Price Realization Methodology
Lead or contribute in continuous improvement initiatives and implement changes for improved price realization in collaboration with the sales areas and the markets
Analyze and follow up price realization and financial & price targets related to new trucks sales
Tools development to drive efficiency and data quality
Assist in securing law & order and definitions for better insights
Always promote fact-based insights
As Price Analysis Manager, you will be part of the Strategic Pricing & Analysis team within Truck Sales Operations and report directly to the Head of Strategic Pricing & Analysis.
Who are you?
The Price Analysis Manager holds strong personal credibility, integrity, and creativity. We also believe key competencies for this role is to be enthusiastic, drive and taking initiatives. The preferred candidate is business minded and enjoys working in a fast-changing environment combining pricing, sales, product management, finance, processes & IT. Experience from wholesale operations or commercial controlling is considered as a merit.
The position holder is an active team worker, possessing strong interpersonal skills including ability to network effectively across different entities within the group. To be able to build enduring relationships within a matrix organization is essential for the position. In addition, we believe the applicant is used to work with analysis of large datasets and have a high proficiency level on office tools like Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint and possibly PowerBI.
The Price Analysis Manager has willingness and ability to travel as needed and as all documentation is in English, high proficiency in the English language is required. Knowledge in Swedish is also a merit but not a prerequisite.
Other Qualifications:
University degree or MBA in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years relevant commercial experience
Commercial drive with business and customer focus
Goal and business result oriented
Strategic mindset and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Analytical skills as well as analysis tool experience
Service minded
