Your challenge
As President of Sandvik Coromant, you lead a successful and profitable business into the future of manufacturing. Guided by customer focus, you take responsibility for our next steps in line with new technology, and at the same time you ensure continued success in well-established areas. You set the foundation for a united company with a clear vision, create a culture of inclusion and strong collaboration and ensure the development and engagement of the organization. You identify driving forces in this dynamic market and continue the promotion of our innovative offer, through which we demonstrate why Sandvik Coromant is number one when doing business. You also build capabilities for capturing current and future business opportunities, and you link our passion for people and technology to our business model.

To strengthen our market leading position in metal cutting tools, and expanding our machining solutions offer by connecting software, digital services and data driven machining
To ensure profitable growth above the market - both organically and through partnerships and acquisition - with an increased flexibility as we move ahead in a changing environment
To drive a strong agenda in becoming a truly sustainable business and being the lighthouse in Industry 4.0

Continuous improvement is part of our DNA and team spirit is key to our success. This means that you work closely with all parts included in our business area to bring us to the next level. You report to the President of Sandvik Machining Solutions, and you actively contribute in our management team - enabling both you and others to utilize the possibility to learn from new perspectives and experiences. The location for this position is flexible within Europe. Extensive global travel is a natural part of the job, and presence at our headquarters in Sandviken (Sweden) on a regular basis is required.
Your background and profile
We are looking for someone with a technical or commercially oriented university degree and with a solid background from successfully leading a large organization within the manufacturing domain. Experience from business development and previous profit and loss responsibility in a complex and global business is necessary. You also have a proven track record of strong execution and excellent customer relations, together with solid experience of stakeholder and change management. As we act in a truly global setting, your communication skills in English are excellent, both verbally and in writing.
