Happy Kids is a private preschool for Swedish, foreign and multilingual children aged between 1-6 years.
Situated in Kållered (just a 12 minute train journey and 10 minute walk from Gothenburg Central station) our pre-school is bi-lingual with teaching taking place in Swedish and English. This is done by each group having at least one Swedish-speaking and one English-speaking teacher.
We follow the Swedish curriculum (Lpfö 98, revised 2010 and 2011) and work with creative themes each month. Working with the curriculum is important to us and it is important that you have a good knowledge of it. Our current staff consists of both men and women of different ages from a variety of countries. This creates an exciting environment for children and staff to develop and grow in.
Happy Kids opened its first pre-school in 2006 in Kållered. In 2009 we opened a second pre-school in Kungsbacka. We are now seeking a preschool teacher for our pre-school in Kållered who wants to work in an international environment.
We require you to speak and write English fluently. It is also important that you have good working knowledge of Swedish. With us you would be hired just to speak English but must be able to understand children, parents and colleagues if they speak to you in Swedish.
The person we are looking for is someone that understands the importance of planning as well as documenting your work. You are able to help plan a pre-school day that is fun, meaningful and stimulating. We are looking for a team player who can lead as well as follow instructions. Someone that can see opportunities where others see problems.

Ideally we are looking for someone to start working from the end of August. The successful candidate must have a valid police control document saying that they are able to work in a preschool.
