About us
At Complete Vehicle, we contribute to delivering the right Products & Services to customers according to product segmentation and brand positioning.

We are a team of specialized functions with a high focus on cooperation to get a holistic view of the truck and bring hands-on experience into the product development. We are close to the end customers to understand their needs and behaviors and bring users' perspectives into the action.

We do this by breaking down features to technical requirements, translating the brand's soul to a product message, delivering all truck and component builds, developing aftermarket solutions, and verifying and validating products and services.

Aftermarket Technology provides Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks, VECV, partly Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Bus, and Volvo Penta with the best possible solutions supporting their aftermarket business. Thanks to our deep technical, business, and customer knowledge, we deliver solutions and services for the salesmen, the mechanics, and parts personnel at dealerships and other service points such as Spare Parts Assortment, Parts Information, Diagnostics and Repair Information, Service Planning and supporting systems solutions and tools. In Aftermarket Technology, we secure that Volvo Group Truck vehicles can be easily maintained for uptime and availability. Aftermarket Technology teams develop solutions with other engineering functions located at Hagerstown, Greensboro, Lyon, Gothenburg, Curitiba, and Bangalore.

THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
You will join the Technology & Service Development team (TSD). At TSD, we manage the Advance Engineering Portfolio for aftermarket technologies, aiming at developing new technologies and services, preparing for the future. Most important is developing the solutions that support our customers and their vehicles to stay on their mission, maximizing uptime!

As a team, we are highly skilled in many areas such as mechatronics, data analytics, AI, CAD/PLM, VR/AR, App development, and more.

In predictive maintenance, projects may focus everything from core technologies to integration in end2end solutions, covering anything between sensors and raw data to decision support and visualization.

To be successful in what we do requires a cross-functional environment, building solutions together with people and teams in different parts of the organization.

As a team, we support each other and grow together.

You will work in a vibrant environment with colleagues from different areas. We merge domain knowledge from engineering and service planning with embedded software, data science, and computer science. You will have a leading role in defining approaches to solve technical challenges.

One specific task will be to engage in strengthening our data analytic competencies. You will also support other roles in developing product and system requirements.

You are a team player, meaning you want to grow as an individual and as a team. You have strong social skills and like getting involved in new situations and with new people. And you approach challenges with a creative and proactive mindset.

You have, as a minimum, a master's degree in, e.g., Automation, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent. If you have a Ph.D. in this area, it is excellent. You have probably worked four years or more with predictive maintenance in the automotive and transportation industry.

You have acquired solid skills and experiences from your previous roles, e.g., coding in Python and working with machine learning in a cloud-based solution. Sensor development, and mechatronics and masters data analytics. And in some areas worked with cutting-edge technologies in R&D projects.

You have also been a pivotal contributor to set targets and build strategies within predictive maintenance.

You are good at structuring your work and tasks and have experience and capacity from managing smaller project teams to common goals.
