The Predictive Energy Management train is a dynamic team across many organizations in Volvo Group Trucks Technology that provides world class solutions in terms of driveability and energy efficiency to all truck and bus brands in the Volvo Group. We strive to offer the most competitive energy efficiency solutions for our customers regardless of their applications. Through advanced prediction algorithms we aim to know our customers best and adapt their experience by world class productivity services.
We are working in a cross-functional way from system/function design, software implementation and calibration to verification of our features in customer end products.

We have an interesting and challenging roadmap ahead of us and you will lead our most complex product initiatives within the domain of Predictive Energy Management (PEM).
As Epic Owner you act as a spider in the web securing that the scope is clear for all contributing teams, working with risk mitigation and high level time plan to align the engineering efforts.
We believe that it is important to feel for the product and act with clear sense of ownership, understand the customer needs and identify opportunities that benefit the customer. You and your team will work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives, both when it comes to technology strategies and deliver solutions that meet our customer expectations and needs.
You will be part of the global PEM and ADAS leadership team, playing an important role and contributing to setting vision and strategy for PEM and ADAS and together we as a team deliver our products and work to continuously improve us and others.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and have an analytic mindset of a true problem solver. You have previous experience from the automotive industry and software development.
If you have a strong drive and energy level, this will be a job opportunity that fits you well. As a person we believe that you have customer focus, like collaboration, drive engagement and have excellent communication skills. You understand that being accountable and successful means driving activities inside as well as outside your own organization. In addition to this, you have the ability to learn quickly when faced with new issues. The environment is dynamic, fast-paced and requires a go-getter attitude.
We consider previous experience of driving vehicles as mandatory and if you have previously driven heavy vehicles that is clearly a big plus. If you don't have C, CE drivers license you will be provided with driving school.
