hela Sverige Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) seeks an engaged engineer to join our data analytics team. You will work with pre-studies and projects to turn business requirements into analytics platforms and tools. Our data analytics solutions are used by more than 7000 engineers world-wide, in their daily work to develop the most competitive and sustainable commercial transport solutions.
We are responsible for an IT portfolio including self-service BI, statistical analysis, dashboards, advanced visualization, natural language processing and image recognition. Those tools are essential for the engineers to understand the customer needs and optimize the vehicles and services to meet the toughest performance and environmental requirements.

You will report to the Director Process & IT Office in GTT and work closely together with senior leaders and technology experts throughout the entire GTT and Volvo Group.
Main responsibilities:
Work collaboratively to define the problem and business needs in terms of data analytics and IT solutions
Size and estimate cost, time and risks for new IT investments and enhancements
Participate in and lead requirements and design workshops with our stake holders in the R&D community
Leading IT pre-studies based on change requests
Keeping up to date with new analytics tools on the market and thinking about ways that these developments can be incorporated in our IT strategy

Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) covers the entire value chain from long-term research to final delivery of complete vehicles for production to the Volvo Group truck business as well as supporting the products in the aftermarket. Qualifications needed:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Positive energy with a drive to motivate oneself and others
Adequate University degree within IT, computer science or similar
Some years of experience within data engineering, IT architecture or similar
Preferably knowledge in some of the following tools, R, Python, Spark, SPSS, SAS suite, QLIK platform, Power BI or similar
Proficient in English, both verbal and written
