We have several openings for native English language speaking Pre-school teachers in our English sections for children aged 2-5 years. Olympen, a private pre-school in Stockholm, was established in 1994.
Our profile "Pedagogik i rörelse" emphasizes movement, music and also nature/environment and outdoor time. At Olympen, language and reading development are prioritized. The pre-school is defined by working together with the pre-school curriculum and movement in a fun way.
As an employee you will have a large scope of freedom to develop and take decisions both independently and in a team.
The schools is located in Älvsjö, Långbropark and in Gärdet/Östermalm in close vicinity to outdoor areas and areas for play and movement.
Our spaces are completely new and especially designed with a focus on the movement and health profile.
We are looking for staff that take pride in their work and enjoy working with children and parents. You should be committed to what you do, have an eye to the future and be interested in developing a methodology which puts the child at the center.
Applications should consist of a CV and a letter of application. The letter should include information about the applicant's areas of expertise, professional ideals, interests, reason for being in Sweden, own family and educational background.
In order to be successful in their application, candidates must; hold a valid teaching certificate and a valid work permit and, for one of the positions, be a native English speaker who would be interested in sharing their culture with the children. You must be able to communicate in Swedish as well. Extra qualifications in our profile subjects will be considered as a merit.
