Bladins School is an independent school consisting of a Swedish Preschool, Swedish Compulsory School, an International School and an Upper Secondary School, in total approximately 900 students. We are located in premises by Själlandstorget in Malmö, a large, vibrant city located in the south of Sweden.
The International School is expanding with 3 new departments in the autumn and we are now seeking English-speaking, qualified and experienced teachers and assistants for our pre-school. The Pre-School works according the The IB Early Years Programme as well as the Swedish curriculum and the children are aged 3-5. We also plan to open a department for 1-2 year olds.
Tasks include:
Responsibility for the pedagogical work and care of the children
Following the stipulations of the International Baccalaureate?s Early Years Programme
Following the Swedish Pre-School Laws
Working closely with other teachers and staff in the Pre-School and Primary Years
Required qualifications for the teaching positions in the pre-school:
The candidates must be fully qualified to teach in the Reception Class (UK)/Kindergatan Class
(USA) or equivalent for the 5 years-olds. Nursery or Early Childhood qualifications are required for
teaching the under 5s
Successful candidates for all positions will:
Be interested in delivering the IB curriculum
Be a team player
Be fluent English speakers
Have a professional approach to all tasks
Be flexible
Be a positive role model to the students
Have experience of working with children at an international school
