British Car Import A/S is a company within Nic. Christiansen Group, and is the Importer of Jaguar Land Rover in Scandinavia. Jaguar Land Rover is experiencing a large increase in sales and many exciting new products to be launched in 2015 and beyond. Their office in Sweden is located in Malmö and currently consists of 9 employees, with a strong Scandinavian back office function in Kolding, Denmark.

Job description
We are currently looking for a Pre-Owned Manager to support the Jaguar Land Rover Scandinavian dealer network. As a Pre-Owned Manager you will develop dealer capacity, capability and competence for operating a robust JLR Approved program and processes to build a sustainable used car business. You will implement and drive JLR's Approved Used Car Brand. As a Pre-owned Manager you will establish, build and maintain ongoing relationships with the dealer network. Furthermore, you will promote Jaguar Land Rover values to all stakeholders, as a Jaguar Land Rover Brand Ambassador. Your office will be in Malmö and you will travel frequently to all their dealers in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. You will report to their Network Development Director.

Responsibilities
• Development of used vehicle competency standard within dealer network.
• Development and deployment of used vehicle sales processes and standards.
• Implement JLR's Approved Used brand/offering.
• Manage Approved Used Warranty Proposition & Strategy.
• Actively engage Residual Value (RV) and Whole Life Cost (WLC) data management.
• Manage Supplier relationship with Approved Warranty Provider.
• Input to the development of tactical used car marketing plans.
• Manage development of dealer retail objectives.
• Maximize local and regional used capabilities and benchmark competitor practices.
• Measure and report on dealer retail performance.
• Develop tools to share best practice across the regional teams and dealers.
• Develop new and upgrade existing tools and materials to support the JLR Approved Program.

Qualifications
You have several years of working experience from automotive sales, preferably in a similar role. A proven track-record in deployment of a pre-owned strategy and operational programs is something you have. Furthermore you have strong understanding of competitor activities and market dynamics. You also have a clear understanding of departmental inter-relationships that exist in a dealership. To interpret financial/performance data and relate to operational activity is within you area of competence as well as awareness of sales and cycle management processes.

Personality-wise you are an excellent communicator and networker with an ability to influence at all level, internally and externally. You have a strong command of English language skills (understanding of Business English). Since your work field is Scandinavia, you also need to be fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) - and of course have a willingness to travel frequently.
