About the position
Perido is looking for a Practice Assistant to our customer White & Case; a global business law firm. In this role you will work closely with the team in the Stockholm office as well as at other offices in the global White & Case network. You will be working from the White & Case office located on Biblioteksgatan in central Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
Working in the role as Practice Assistant, you will work with two other Practice Assistants assisting Partners and Associates in the high-performance Private Equity team. They are one of Sweden's top legal teams, always striving for excellence. Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan and book meetings with clients and third parties including preparing material for projects, meetings and external events
Plan and book internal meetings; coordination of travel management and internal events
Register and prepare client matters, including handling KYC/AML and other compliance requirements
Be part of project teams and actively participate in client matters by supporting the team in different practical tasks such as setting up and managing data rooms, share registers, audit requests, assist with company changes / registrations to SCRO (Bolagsverket), company structure charts and assisting in the production of due diligence reports
Prepare for signings and closings in transactions and mandates in coordination with the Private Equity legal team - both physical and digital signatures as required
Assist with the purchase of shelf companies
Edit text, prepare drafts and handle legal documentation
Proofread, index, copy, and other similar administrative duties
Assist with invoices such as weekly and monthly billing in different projects and handle expense claims.

Qualifications:
Secondary education or equivalent
A few years' experience in administration
Delivering high performance through client service excellence
Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken); with good communication skills

Meritorious
Experience from a similar position in the legal field or within the financial consultancy industry

Contract type and hours
Full-time assignment initially 6 months through Perido, thereafter possible takeover by the client. Start as soon as possible.
