Dear PQA Legal Manager, I know I will find you somehow, and to make it easier for you to find our awesome Bargain Superstore, I wrote an ad specially made for you.
Good-to-knows, about us:
• Fyndiq is one of Europe’s fastest growing tech companies, serving as an ecommerce marketplace, connecting merchants with bargain hunters. We are 130 humble rebels with a lovely mix of right and left brained talents.
• The Product Quality Assurance team, known as PQA here at Fyndiq, are our investigators. All products (read hundred of thousands) sold via Fyndiq must be legally OK to sell and respect the rights of others. PQA therefore follow up on claims from others (e.g. right holders) and play an active role by responding to the EU Commission’s public consultations on matters related to Fyndiq’s business. The PQA team also makes sure that the product ads look great, and that the products are not forbidden to sell or infringe rights of others. Actually, they are the Fyndiq superheroes fighting against fake goods.
You, our PQA Legal Manager will:
• Take the front seat - help, guide and actively contribute to policies of the PQA team when it comes to intellectual property rights, marketing and product compliance. You’ll dive deep into PQA’s work doing legal research yet never lose focus on practical and business-minded solutions on how to comply. The awesomeness of this is actually that you’ll combine the best of two worlds, legal and business. You’ll handle legal fine-print, manage complex legal disputes, EU-level consultations while you discuss business solutions and what an excellent ad image should look like!
So these are your qualifications:
• Law Degree from a german speaking country
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (ideally with consumer products, e-commerce or retail businesses)
• Native speaker or bilingual in German, and fluent in English
• A giganormous heart for intellectual property rights
• Team spirit, guts, passion and a love for new ways of working
