Aurobay is looking for a PPAP Engineer to lead the "Production Part Approval Process" within Aurobay. Since Aurobay is a new TR1 company spun off from Volvo Cars we are now building up our capabilities as a TR1 supplier. You will be an important player in this transformation work.

What Will You Do?
To get a PPAP approval of a new product or production process, Aurobay as a supplier need to prove that the development work is performed according to APQP, to comply with the 18 requirements elements of the PPAP. This includes steering plan, FMEA, material tests, measurements, and test production. This is collected in a PPAP folder that is reviewed with the customer for approval. When the PPAP is approved, the product or process is approved for delivery.
• Contact with Customer connected to Customer Delivery Unit
• Manage and Report Change Management Items (planned Improvements of process)
• Coordinate with Key Account Manager continuously
• Quality Assurance Plan
• Initiate QAP Monitor evidence
• Compile PPAP
• PPAP deliveries
• Communicate progress to Customer
• Participate in GPM (Global PPAP Meeting), LPM (Local PPAP Meeting)
• Communicate status at Gate reviews
• Coordinate input to customer portal
• Process Owner Change Management Process
• Continuously Develop Change Management Process
• Customer Audit
• Coordinate Customer Audit P&P/ME (SEMAT)
• Gather Information for the event
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have a Bachelor, higher or equivalent work life experience.
• At least 5 years of previous experience in APQP, Launch and PPAP work in TR1 supplier to the automotive industry
• Have delivered and explained PPAP to customer in previous employment
• SQA experience meriting
• Experience working with several different customers meriting
• Ability to build partnerships
• Curious, looking for ways to innovate or improve our way of working
• Collaborative and proactive mindset
• Accountability
