The Opportunity
Join our Grid Quality team as a Power System Simulation Model Engineer and help shape the future of sustainable energy. Work on cutting-edge solutions that strengthen grids, enable renewable integration, and accelerate the energy transition—perfect for fresh graduates in Electrical, Power, or Energy Engineering.
How you'll make an impact
Develop, implement, validate, and deliver simulation models to our customers in tenders and projects using various power system tools to support grid optimization and renewable integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our R&D, and customers, to gather requirements to support the design of effective technical solutions.
Create software in the loop model of real-time control functions
Perform testing and validation of power system models and associated tools.
Perform RMS simulation studies with customer networks
Prepare clear and structured technical documentation and reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in power system modeling.
Contribute to knowledge sharing by supporting, training, and collaborating with colleagues throughout project execution.

Your Background
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of experience in power system analysis.
Knowledge of, or experience with, power system simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB and EMTP.
Interest in or experience with programming (e.g., C++, C#, FORTRAN, DSL, Python, MATLAB), control theory, signal processing, and dynamic modelling.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
