Assignment description:
The Software department is looking for a senior power optimization developer. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the system power consumption performance for the cellular platforms which includes modem, multimedia and wireless connectivity features (i.e. Bluetooth, Wireless LAN, GPS). You will lead and drive power consumption issues against other parts of the organization and be responsible for tracking overall status of the system. The applicant is expected to have portable electronic device development experience such as cellular phone, portable multi media player, PDA, etc.
Exposure to system level knowledge of ASIC architecture, board level hardware, and embedded software (specifically in the area of design for minimal power implementation and optimization) is required.

Job Prerequisites:
# MS in computer science or equivalent
# Experience in C and C++
# Knowledge of ASIC architecture, board level hardware
# Software development experience in Android and Java
# Experience from agile software development
# Fluent in English (written and orally)
# Demonstrated innovative and creative problem solving capabilities
# Highly professional attitude, with the ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules
# Quality mindset and strong customer focus
# Strong inter-personal and collaborative skills
