At 97611 Electric Drive System and Inverter HW we contribute to the company target to electrify 10% of the cars in 2020 and to have 1 million electrified cars on the road in 2025! We are expanding and looking for a new Developer (HWKA) Power Electronics - Inverter HW to our team of 10 unique individuals.

As Developer at Volvo Cars you will work with requirements from System Designers to deliver Design Prerequisites, Technical Regulations, Contractual Elements and Compliance Agreements with suppliers. You will be working with quality assurance disciplines such as FMEAs and participate in test activities and follow up on supplier verification. You will lead technical design reviews, internal and supplier joint reviews. Your tasks will also include cost engineering, benchmarking and reporting status/progress.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a university degree within electric engineering and experience within automotive development, previous experience from inverters would be a benefit. You are a person with a data driven approach, you like to keep a great structure and are business oriented. Your decisions always follow that line. Experience and training in Scrum/Agile/Scaled Agile work practices is a merit.
In order to make an impact, you have a positive energy that you like to share with others; you are a team player! To succeed in this role we see that you are a skilled communicator in English, used to be transparent. In order to fully enjoy the role you are comfortable networking and have the ability to take the lead.
Further, we see that you possess a driver's license B.
