At ABB Substations, we develop innovative and reliable solutions for effective integration of power. We are anticipating a bright future and are looking for a Power Constructor to strengthen our team in Västerås.
You will be part of Substations in Västerås. The business unit designs and delivers complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. Our turnkey substation projects mainly comprise high and medium voltage apparatus, transformers, protection and control systems, auxiliary power systems, as well as construction and erection work. Substations in Västerås, Ludvika, Norrköping and Göteborg has approximately 200 employees.
You will work with different parts of our power construction - from testing and commissioning to end documentation. You will also plan and follow up project schedules, specify material for purchase, as well as carry out follow-up actions of the manufacturing process.
You will work in close collaboration with our customers, as well as with commissioning and construction. In this varied and challenging role, you will be given great opportunities to deepen your skills in relay protection technology and commissioning.
You are driven and curious with a passion for technology. You are also result oriented with a keen eye for details and since you have great communicative and collaborative skills, you thrive being part of the team.
You hold a high school diploma with specialization in Power and have a few years' experience in the Power business where you have worked with power construction, switchgear and protective relay up reaching 130 kV. If you have experience in commissioning, it is qualifying. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
