These tumors often have specific genetic abnormalities such as deletions in the chromosome 11q region. In this post-doc work the employee will study these tumors identify and characterize what genes and gene mechanisms are involved in development ab progression. Based on these studies, we intend to carry out a variety of functional studies and cell biological studies with regard to clarification of biomarker status and their potential use in novel treatment strategies. The work will be performed within Prof. Tommy Martinsson's research group.
