Institute of Health and Care Sciences has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow for the research project Methodological Options to Support Assessment of Individualised Care (MOSAIC) within University of Gothenburg Centre for Person-centred care. The position is half-time for two years with start January 1, 2012.
TASKS: We are looking for a person with extensive and documented knowledge in PRO-instrument development and validation. Primary tasks include data analysis and interpretation, applying both classical and modern psychometric methods; planning, initiating and coordinating data collections and writing scientific articles.
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified applicant should have a PhD degree in Health and Care Sciences obtained three years prior to the closing date for the application. Knowledge and experience in instrument development/validation and psychometric analysis methods, in particular RASCH-analysis, are required. Furthermore, the successful candidate should have documented knowledge in quantitative methods, clinical experience within Swedish health care and a strong command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
