The department conducts a wide-array of research, together with other departments within the Lund Institute of Technology. A significant portion of the measurement and research activity is also conducted outside the university at the facilities of our industrial research partners. Our research facility was built in 2011 and currently supports the work of around 40 researchers.
Publiceringsdatum2011-10-26Dina arbetsuppgifterAt the Division of Combustion Physics of Lund University (Sweden), we are planning to open a Post Doc. position in the field of laser diagnostics for fundamental studies of combustion phenomena closely related to industrial applications.
The candidate will be given the opportunity to apply state-of-the-art laser equipment in doing advanced combustion diagnostics, in gaining fundamental knowledge of crucial combustion phenomena of industrial importance e.g. high pressure combustion/gasification of industrial fuels, soot formation and plasma assistant combustion for industrial flame control.

Önskvärda kvalifikationer
A PhD degree or equivalent is required for a successful application. Experience and knowledge in combustion laser diagnostics, high pressure experiments, plasma assistant combustion and kinetics will be valued.
This position is a qualifying appointment focused on research, with intention to be a initial career step.
