Two PostDoc scholarships are available at the Department of Rheumatology and Inflammation Research, University of Gothenburg, within the area of signal transduction between cells via exosomes. The fellowship is to improve and extend the knowledge of the successful candidate in the area of molecular biology and protein biochemistry, relevant to cancer research. The project will investigate cell-to-cell signalling (transfer of DNA, RNA, and protein) via exosomes to number of recipient cells such as cancer cells. Methodologies such as cell culturing, FACS analysis, RNA and protein work at multiple levels are included in the project.
The candidate should hold a PhD degree in medicine/biology or equivalent from other university than the University of Gothenburg. There are no restrictions in terms of nationality, age, or gender. The starting date is as soon as possible for duration of approximately two years.
