Welcome to Linnaeus University! A place for knowledge, ideas and development. For growth potential and a belief in the future. In Småland and in the world.

Linnaeus University is a modern, international university with Småland as its base and the world as its stage. We combine curiosity, creativity and utility with an entrepreneurial thinking in education and research. Seeing possibilities and believing in the future is part of what we do every day.

We now strengthen our prominent research by recruiting 21 postdoctoral fellows.

The research group in Waves and Signals carries out research in mutlidisciplinary collaboration between the areas of applied mathematics, mathematical physics, electromagnetic theory and signal processing. The research focuses on electromagnetic problems relating to direct and inverse problems in science and engineering. Typical application areas are within industry and medicin such as with power engineering and cables, communication antennas and scattering, electrical- and microwave tomography, imaging, parameter estimation, detection and surveillance. The research team collaborates closely with several other research teams in Sweden and have many international contacts.

Field of subject for the position:
Electrical Engineering with special focus on electromagnetic theory and signal processing.
