The Science Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for a PostDoc - Slow Dynamics Neutron Spectroscopy.
Description of directorate/division
The Neutron Science Division supports and coordinates the neutron research by academic activities, collaborative research with various partners and local academic networks as well as industry liaison and infrastructure. Various meetings such as Science Symposia, IKON, ESS S&S are co-organized by the division. The neutron science division organizes the ESS PhD programme. As far as building the ESS is concerned the Neutron Science Division is responsible for the scientific infrastructure by specifying the required user support laboratories, the sample handling and the user access. In this it helps designing, building and operating a neutron science driven experimental facility.
