Post-Doc position in Ecology
We are offering a Post-doc position to join a research project studying interactions between forestry and reindeer husbandry. The successful candidate will work with quantifying effects of forestry on the winter grazing grounds of reindeer, with a specific focus on lichen abundance and availability. A large part of the project will deal with analysing already existing data sets, but some field work may also be involved. The project is funded by Formas (The Swedish Research Council Formas).
To qualify for this position you need a PhD degree in ecology or a similar subject field. Further, you need to show a successful track record of publications and an ability to work independently. Experiences in statistical modelling and/or GIS-analysis will be considered as merits. The position is for a 12-month period (prolongation may be possible), and starting as soon as possible.
