Scope of appointment: The position is limited to two years full time.
Job description:
Tasks will mainly involve research within the research group for sustainable built environment and teaching at first-cycle level in the fields of energy technology, energy efficiency in built environment and renewable energy. The research will involve participation in externally-funded projects and in particular the implementation of advanced assessments and calculations of district heating systems and their interaction with energy flows over time in buildings, including the development of calculation models. Tasks also include the writing of research applications, the spreading of research results, and the supervision of doctoral students. Teaching may also comprise course coordination, administration and examination, as well as supervision of degree projects.
Requirements
Qualified to be appointed post doctor in civil engineering and district heating systems is a person who has a doctoral degree in civil engineering or energy technology, or a degree from abroad that is considered to be equivalent to a doctoral degree in one of these fields. The defence of the doctoral thesis should have taken place no longer than three years prior to the expiration of the application period, unless there are special reasons otherwise.
Good communication skills in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
