About the Role
You will take ownership of how positioning functionality is verified in autonomous robotic products that combine embedded software, sensors, connectivity, and intelligent navigation. In this role, you treat positioning as a subsystem of its own, with clear requirements, interfaces, risks, behaviours, and expected results. You will lead a small test team and make sure there is reliable evidence of quality, readiness for integration, and risks that need to be addressed.
The work spans both new positioning solutions and maintenance of solutions already in use. You will work across module, subsystem, and integration levels, and collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers, hardware engineers, projects, and other test teams. Job DescriptionYou will lead and support a team of three testers working with both manual and automated testing.
You will analyse positioning requirements, interfaces, technical designs, and expected behaviour.
You will define the overall test approach for positioning at module, subsystem, and integration levels.
You will create test plans covering scope, methods, timing, and responsibilities.
You will plan and distribute testing activities within the team and decide what should be automated versus tested manually.
You will design and maintain test scenarios, methods, environments, and acceptance criteria.
You will coordinate testing in test rigs, automated environments, and physical robotic products.
You will collect and analyse logs, measurements, test results, and technical statistics from different test environments.
You will follow up progress and communicate test status, results, risks, and limitations during each sprint.
You will support fault isolation and help determine whether issues belong to positioning, its interfaces, another subsystem, or the complete product.
You will ensure that test results provide clear input for technical and release decisions.
You will contribute to the maintenance and verification of positioning solutions already used by customers.
You will help the team grow through stronger technical ownership, improved independence, and better ways of working.
RequirementsYou have experience leading or coordinating testing activities within a technical team.
You have experience testing embedded software, robotics, automotive systems, or similar complex products.
You have experience with module, subsystem, function, and integration testing.
You have experience with requirements analysis, test planning, and test design.
You have experience with both manual and automated testing.
You have experience with debugging, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.
You have experience with GNSS, RTK, LiDAR, positioning systems, correction data, sensor systems, or autonomous products.
Nice to haveExperience with test automation and scripting, preferably using Python or a similar language.
Experience with test rigs, simulation, HIL, SIL, or other automated test environments.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
