hela Sverige In Vehicle Connectivity we develop, deliver and maintain all on-board functions, systems and solutions which enable connected vehicles and related services.
Our main platforms and enablers are the Telematic Gateway (TGW) and our android-based Service and Entertainment Module (SEM). For both platforms we develop main parts of the software in-house and buy the hardware with lower level software from strategic suppliers.
In this position you are responsible for the portfolio backlog for one or several of our platforms.
The portfolio backlog holds high level business needs and descriptions (epics) which can be realized in a number of different ways. In this role you steer and prioritize the backlog for our platforms which include, but is not limited to:
Breaking down high level business needs and descriptions (epics) together with other engineers, primarily architects and system leaders, to a level (capabilities) where it can be further prioritized and distributed to agile teams and ARTs
Plan, perform and support in analysis regarding feasibility, desirability and viability of business needs (epics)
Make trade-offs and prioritizations in the backlog in order render value to customer as fast as possible while still building and re-using building blocks and architectures
Visualize prioritized backlogs and synchronize between internal and external stakeholders safeguarding dependencies with other teams, ARTs and organizations
Budget responsibility for the portfolio
To do this you need to work, in close cooperation with Product planning, Product Owners, Global Technology Managers, GTP and GTO.
Qualification:
Minimum Master of Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience of project management
Minimum 10 years of experience of embedded software and system development, preferably for the truck/car industry.
Experience of agile methods, such as SAFE, SCRUM and KANBAN
Experience of supplier management is a merit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
