If you are analytical, self-going and have a background as Business Relationship Manager or Project Manager and are passionate about technology this could be the right challenge for you. As our Portfolio Manager you will join the Architecture and Portfolio Management group within department Product Development IT. The department is responsible for delivering IT to Scania's product development process at R&D.
The team you will join is intended to develop and guarantee the partnership between Scania Business and Scania IT/ Product Development IT. We are responsible for the dialogue with the business as a whole regarding new requirements and services. We conduct analyses in partnership with the business and ensure that we make the best use of IT.
Your responsibilities
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be the one of our business's primary point of contacts for new assignments.
Your main tasks will be:
Understand the R&D business area and its sub processes
Identify new business demands and translate these into IT solutions (to be received at the correct line function)
Lead projects and assignments
Lead the IT planning work within PD IT
Strategy and Roadmap work
Build & Maintain a good relationship with our business colleagues within R&D
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. This should be complemented by 6-10 years of experience working as a Business Relationship Manager or Project Manager. Among others you have good business and IT knowledge, as well as in the R&D process. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
As a person you have a proactive approach and you enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality and targets. You also have a great deal of business acumen and the drive and willingness to take great responsibility with significant stamina and the ability to manage complex situations that are constantly changing. You like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take the initiative and work independently. To be successful in this role, we also think you will have good communication skills and the ability to conduct dialogue at all levels of the company as well as an understanding of what is required for good IT provision.
