About the job
BU Energy Separation undergoes a substantial transformation driven by global sustainability trends in which high speed separators (HSS) contribute to emission reduction, waste minimization and product recovery in industries like biobased chemicals, recycling, refinery, petrochemicals and more.
The Portfolio Manager is responsible to secure a competitive total offering of products and services for target industries and customers.
Your key tasks will be to:
* Review and analyze the competitiveness of our HSS offerings from customer and industry needs, as well as sales and profitability performance
* Identify gaps in the portfolio and needs for technology development, new product developments, product renovation and product terminations
* Own and drive the portfolio development plan in close cooperation with Product Management, R&D, Sales & Service
* Develop market demand specifications, commercial plans, and launch plans
* Ensure that information and supporting materials for our offerings are available for sales and for customers.
You will belong to the Marketing & Portfolio Management team, responsible for translating current and future customer needs into product and portfolio strategies leading into innovative solutions providing unique customer values. The position is based in Tumba.
Who you are
You demonstrate business acumen, decisiveness and a strong drive to get things done. As you will have many interactions within and outside the BU, you should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. This will also require a high level of integrity and self-motivation to achieve results in a matrix environment.
What you know
We believe you have several years of working experience in sales and or product management and university degree in technical engineering or industrial marketing. Technical competence from working with high speed separators or similar technology is a big advantage.
We work in an international environment why you need excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
