hela Sverige Trading and Asset Optimisation (TAO) organisation optimises the best price for electricity production and consumption and hedges earnings from these operations with commodity derivatives far into the future. About 95 TWh of physical electricity trading and about 200 TWh of trading in commodity derivatives pass through TAO each year. We operate in several commodity exchanges such as Nasdaq Commodities and ICE, as well as physical electricity markets, Nord Pool and TGE (Polish Power Exchange). We also operate Fortum's hydro plants to enable total optimisation of our hydro fleet in the volatile energy market. In addition we develop new flexibility solutions for industrial customers and optimize battery storages. In-depth understanding of the electricity business and market knowledge are an essential part of TAO's business.
About the role
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Energy Services unit within the Trading and Asset Optimization (TAO) business area at Solna United in Stockholm area. Energy Services is responsible for handling our customers consumption and production at Nord Pool. As the Nordic system gets more electrified and new renewables are being built, the need for our services is also increasing. We carry out the consumption and wind forecasting as well as optimization our customers portfolio of production. In your role as Portfolio Manager you will work with processes and development in areas of forecasting and trading of consumption and renewables. In addition you will take part in the operative work together with out traders. You will also get to take part in cross-team development initiatives for example in enabling customer flexibility or implementing new market rules.

What we are looking for
We expect you to have a Master's degree in a relevant field together with a passion for electricity trading, a few years of experience from the energy sector and especially from the Nordic physical power markets. In order to succeed in this position you need to have strong analytical thinking, trading mind-set and a constant hunger for growing and learning new things. In addition to this you work well under stress and as we are a pan-Nordic team both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. It is an advantage if you master one of the Nordic languages as well.
