Are you ready to embark on a journey where every day presents new challenges and opportunities? We're seeking a Portfolio Coordinator to be part of Husqvarna Light Ag. & Pacific Business Unit.
Light Ag & Pacific Business Unit, caters for all end customer types in the geographies of Latin America, Central America, Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, including China and India, Pacific, Ukraine and other distributor markets in the Caucuses and Central Asia.
The role is centered around the comprehensive management and strategic coordination of a portfolio, specifically targeting the support of Coordination Support Units (CSUs) across various regions. This involves a multifaceted approach to portfolio development, strategic business analysis, and optimization to ensure alignment with the organization's overarching goals.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting Regional Portfolio Development: Assisting in the creation and refinement of regional portfolios, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and market demands.
• Strategic Business Analysis for Feasibility and Development: Conducting in-depth analyses to evaluate the viability and potential of proposed initiatives or projects within the portfolio.
• Coordination for Light Ag - Pac. Business Unit: Overseeing the integration and alignment of the Light Agriculture - Pacific Business Unit's objectives with the broader portfolio strategy.
• LTVP Coordination and Governance: Managing Long-Term Value Proposition (LTVP) projects, including governance processes to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
• Portfolio Analysis and Optimization: Regularly reviewing the portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring it meets the organization's strategic goals through performance analysis and optimization strategies.
• Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of products or services within the portfolio, utilizing customer feedback, sales metrics, and market share data to inform adjustments and enhancements.
• Market Research and Trends Analysis: Keeping abreast of market trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape to adapt and position the portfolio advantageously.
• Strategic Planning with the Product Management Team: Collaborating on the development of CSU portfolio strategies, including defining target markets, product positioning, pricing strategies, and investment priorities.
• Governance and CSU Intelligence: Partnering with the Business Development organization to gather and analyze market data, providing insights that guide decision-making and strategy formulation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with departments such as product management, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure that portfolio strategies are integrated and executed effectively across the organization. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts, and the coordination of initiatives to meet shared objectives.
• This role is essential for organizations looking to optimize their portfolio's performance, align it with strategic goals, and adapt dynamically to market changes and opportunities.
What you have
• Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Relations, or related areas that provide a strong foundation in strategic planning, market analysis, and project management.
• Have proven experience with emerging markets. This includes understanding the unique challenges and opportunities present in these environments, such as economic volatility, regulatory complexities, and cultural nuances.
• Must have direct experience in managing or coordinating projects across borders, especially within emerging markets. This includes experience in strategic planning, project management. The candidate should be able to showcase specific projects where they successfully led portfolio coordination efforts, highlighting outcomes such as market expansion, portfolio optimization, or enhanced competitive positioning.
• Demonstrated ability to run projects that span multiple countries or regions, requiring coordination among diverse teams and alignment with global strategic objectives. This involves exceptional communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively across different geographic locations.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities, with experience in market research, performance analysis, and the use of data to inform decision-making. Candidates should be adept at conducting business analyses to assess feasibility, identify market opportunities, and optimize portfolio performance.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, finance, and operations, to align portfolio strategies with broader organizational goals.
• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages relevant to the emerging markets of interest is highly desirable.
