This role means getting the opportunity to be involved in different and challenging architectural questions for Volvo Group and creating our future solutions. You'll be a part of driving deliveries according to the global solutions agenda are a part of the Volvo Group who are responsible for all deliveries related to solutions for Buses & Penta.
Mission:
As a Portfolio Architect you will have the overall architectural responsibility for the Penta PRD portfolio which means we will count on you. Your wok will be with high level architectural questions like capability mapping and defining the IT landscape and in tight cooperation with Volvo Penta P&IT but also with more hands on day to day architectural challenges.
You will act as Solution Architect for applications in the portfolio and as Lead architect in strategically projects. You will also coach Lead and solution architects in the Volvo Penta PRD area. You will also:
• Participate in Volvo Penta Architecture function and together with the Enterprise Architect set up architecture visions and architecture transformation charters for the PRD area
• Make architectural decisions within the Penta PRD Portfolio, in line with the directions set by Volvo Penta architecture function and Group IT architectural guidelines
• Ensure integrity of the overall architecture in the Penta PRD Portfolio as well as services provided and integrations towards the other Portfolios
• Design and maintain solution architectural artifacts (e.g. solution architecture design, integration maps, infrastructure models)
• Act as a stakeholder for Non Functional Requirements, and realize their importance

Who are you?
Since you will be the one to create structure and secure the integrity of the systems and integrations we believe you have the knowledge and the experience to take the dialog with the stakeholders and find the best way forward. You also have the ability to listen to different demands and finding balance between frameworks/rules and finding a way forward.
Since you are part of a global team, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. It is important you have an innovative, driving and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge in your organization. You also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy. More than that we believe you have:
• Leadership experience and global experience
• A relevant university degree
• Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
• Experience from Enterprise Architecture frameworks, e.g. TOGAF and from previous IT Architecture roles
• Complete proficiency in English and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge about the Volvo Penta ERP systems as well as PRD domain knowledge and/or knowledge about Volvo Penta will be considered an advantage
• Experience from portfolio management is a merit
