We are now looking for a new colleague to our Portfolio Administration department. As a member of the Portfolio Administration team, you are managing the full post-trade lifecycle of orders from the traders' desk to final settlements, reconciliations and payments. NAV calculation for East Capital products and delivery to external counterparties in time is the department's responsibility. We can offer you an exciting and challenging position in an international and dynamic work environment. You will be based at our head quarter in Stockholm. The position is a temporary employment (sw. allmän visstidsanställning) for one year.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Daily/monthly NAV calculations (determining best price of securities each trading day)
• Communicating with custodians, brokers and traders
• Ensuring timely settlements of open transactions
• Investigating discrepancies between different counterparty instructions
Other tasks you will be involved in include:
• Creating and updating security data in trading and portfolio management software systems
• Assist in ongoing projects to improve operational efficiency
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:
• High school degree plus minimum 3 years relevant working experience or a university degree
• Former back office experience is appreciated but not a requirement
• General understanding of basic accounting principles
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel
• VBA programming skills is favorable but not a requirement
