What will you do?
Schedule and optimize, schedule and optimize - it's the mantra for this role! We are looking for someone who can schedule our pool employees according to the needs onboard our Swedish vessels, always having our pool agreement in mind. As Pool Manning Optimizer you will work with different aspects of pool management, such as manning, scheduling, optimization and ensuring that the crew onboard is within legal guidelines of the vessels regarding rank, qualification and certificates. It's a bit of a tricky puzzle, but an exciting one!

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Planning for effective manning in accordance with needs, requirements and actual SLA:s
• Provide day to day manning
• Ensure that new employees are competent, qualified and suitable experienced and that documentation and certification is compliant with company's SMS
• Support onboard managers in manning matters
• Monitor employment records and make planning in accordance with union agreements
• Reviewing information on the performance of all seagoing personnel
• Keeping aware of training needs for personnel and communicating this to training department
• Participate in new onboarding process according to the established procedure (contracts, uniforms, badges, training and so forth)

Who are you?

Coming up with creative and effective solutions comes naturally and you should have an interest in both numbers as well as people. As the social chameleon you are, you can communicate pretty much with anyone in the organization.

• Manning skills
• Competence within logistics and supply chain
• Good IT knowledge, learning and adapting to new systems is a piece of cake
• Knowledge in labour law, ability to interpret collective agreements
