KRY is looking for an experienced Policy Manager in Sweden. You will develop and execute policy programs and thought leadership to shape healthcare policy and mitigate regulatory risk to enable the company's vision, objectives and digitalization agenda. Through research, analysis and stakeholder engagement, you will ensure management has a comprehensive understanding of the issues, politics and players who shape healthcare policy in Sweden.
You are an exceptional policy analyst and expert, well-versed in research, analysis and methods of policy development, thought leadership and opinion building. You excel on a strategic level and diligently translate short and long term business objectives and priorities into actionable, high-impact policy proposals. You are comfortable with change and a fast-moving environment, and you effectively prioritise and deliver your best, even under pressure or tight deadlines.
What you'll do- Gathering and analyse external policy development relevant for business and product development
• Develop and maintain a policy landscape analysis and platform covering all policies and regulations affecting KRY at present and in the future
• Own the Swedish policy platform and ensure alignment between the policy platform and the business strategy
• Develop strategic and data-driven policy proposals to accelerate digitalisation of Swedish healthcare and advance the company's expansion and development agenda
• Partner with the broader corporate communications team to develop and execute opinion building and policy programs
• Conduct risk analysis and scenario planning to enable long term business planning and execution the company strategy
• Build and nurture a network of friends with similar objectives to enable public affairs initiatives
• Produce and project manage the production of thought leadership material
• Coordinate with broader Communications & PA department to create internal and external communication of policy and thought leadership
• Support public affairs managers in developing and executing public affairs plans and initiatives
• Represent KRY externally in relevant policy related forums
Who you are- 6+ years experience of working with public policy in regulated industries, preferably in healthcare
• Deep understanding of health care communication, policy and industry issues
• Proven expertise in current and critical pharma issues especially drug pricing
• Track record of successful communications or public affairs campaign development
• Exceptional presentation, writing, and analytical skills including the ability to write strategically and creatively under tight deadlines
• Excellent research and quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, particularly within economics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, expert public speaker
• Broad and deep network among policymakers and a genuine desire to continuously expand them
• Ability to manage various projects at once in an ever-changing environment, while working well with and inspiring cross-functional teams
• You are courageous and passionately determined to reach set goals and value continuous improvement
• You have a passion for changing healthcare for the benefit of patients
You will be based in our downtown Stockholm office and report to the Director of Communications and Public Affairs. Some travel will be required.
