Join an exciting transformation within the retail industry, where you will lead the launch of a new POS program, driving strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This assignment, based in Stockholm, offers the opportunity to shape a key part of the business in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The assignment is full-time and for a period between 2025-02-17 and 2025-09-30, with possible extension.
About the role
As a Senior POS Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the launch of a new POS program from end to end. You will develop and execute a comprehensive program plan, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you will oversee program progress, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate a complex retail environment.
Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive POS program plan, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
Track and monitor program progress, ensuring key milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively addressing challenges to maintain program momentum.
Evaluate program performance, driving continuous improvements and ensuring alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
Prepare and lead project and steering committee meetings, ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate with other program managers to integrate the POS program within broader business initiatives.
About you
You are a senior program manager with extensive experience in retail and POS solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment where stakeholder management and decision-making are key to success. With a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, you effectively balance short-term execution with long-term impact. Your ability to communicate clearly and lead cross-functional teams ensures program success in a rapidly evolving industry.
Experience and skills Proven experience leading large-scale POS programs within the retail industry.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain momentum in complex environments.
Exceptional stakeholder management, navigating relationships across teams, executives, and external partners.
Excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement across all levels.
Adaptability and resilience in managing shifting priorities, risks, and challenges.
Strategic leadership with the ability to influence, drive change, and align short-term actions with long-term business goals.
Experience preparing and leading project and steering committee meetings.
Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
