We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide. We are looking for a Principal Consultant to join an exciting project for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals and primary care facilities for a comprehensive solution. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their more than 1 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and an improved work environment for healthcare professionals.
As a Consulting Technical Director (PMO strategist), you are an acknowledged authority within Oracle. This senior level consulting position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with industry-wide impact. You will lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
You will serve as the senior advisor to - and part of the leadership team within - two complex implementation programs supporting our Swedish customers. You will support the optimized efficiency and effectiveness of the programs by:
Identifying gaps in operational services preventing optimal delivery, both within the Program Management Office (PMO) and within the programs themselves
Consistently refine the PMO operating model, working alongside the PMO Manager
Evaluate reporting needs within the programs and the PMO in order to support strategic decision making
Establish and operationalize strategic cross- and intra-program governance
Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 5 years consulting experience
Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 8 years of work experience implementing Cerner Millennium solutions
Management or team leadership experience
Expectations:
Ability to travel as needed (< 20%)
Ability to project manage large teams
Ability to think critically in order to solve complex problems
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
