hela Sverige Product unit Turning (CDT), within the Product Management and R&D organization at Sandvik Coromant, owns and manages our Turning offer, making sure it's competitive and profitable. We take responsibility for development, introduction and maintenance of our portfolio of products and know-how. This spans from understanding customer and market needs to development and ensuring a consistent implementation of our offer. The product unit has the overall responsibility for the product portfolio life cycle. To support our project delivery and our change management capabilities within CDT, we have established a Project Management Office (PMO). As the PMO Manager, your main responsibilities are to proactively work to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within the set standard for quality and cost. It also includes competence development of project managers in leadership and project methodology as well as suggests, initiates and executes new ways of working throughout the organization. We are now looking for a manager to lead the PMO into the future and act as a strong member of the product unit's management team. We seek a manager who inspires high quality management of projects in product development, knowledge development and change management. The location for this position is Sandviken. Key performance areasIn this position, you lead a team of full-time project managers, which includes developing the project management competence and current best-practice within the organization and improving project delivery. You represent the PMO in the steering group, and you shape the continuous improvement of processes and ways of working. You take an active role in the product unit's management team, which includes executing performance excellence activities and developing the overall strategy. Your profileWe are looking for someone with at least five years' experience from a leading position, together with extensive knowledge of project management or operational management. You have a good understanding of the connection between delivery and group dynamics, and are used to creating results by motivation and a coaching approach. You follow through on commitments, and you have a proven track record of achieving results. As we work in a truly global organization, you need to have excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal.
