hela Sverige The Program Department within Business Unit Missile Systems feature Program Managers (Contract Responsible) where the context is an international arena with cooperation with several international partners. Our commitments within our product portfolio are many and we need to strengthen our management of our contract Portfolio, hence our need of a PMO manager/coordinator.
Your role
A Program Management Office, PMO, is a function, a group of people who are in charge of program management within an organisation. The function maintains the standards and sound business practices that are necessary for a company or organisation to execute contracts successfully. We are responsible for making sure we execute with the proper knowledge, resources, lessons learned, metrics and reporting procedures. The PMO within BU Missile Systems is one of several PMO's that work together to achieve sound execution.
The PMO coordinator is an developed role, where we aim to strengthen the PMO function together with the Head of PMO function, Contract Owners, the Program Managers and other PMO functions within Saab Dynamics. Hence, in our context there are good opportunities to develop yourself in parallel with our development of our PMO function.
Tasks are associated with;
* Support Program managers with Project Management tool, such as monthly reporting, financial controlling services, resource management planning.
* Provide oversight of project portfolio with regular portfolio updates to Head of PMO function
* Summarize input to montly portfolio report.
In addition to the tasks outlined above there are some historical tasks that also will be part of the job to some extent such as;
* Issuing Customer Orders, register Purchase Orders, contribute to / file shipping documenation
* Management of encrypted shipment of documentation / letters to customers and/or partners
* Support the program managers in the invoicing process
* Management of repairs of customer equipment
Your profile
We believe that you have a relevant academic education such as project management, economics or relevant technical domain. Most important is your character with a desire to be part of a team, ability to take initiative, some sense for structure and will to provide support when required. You can be in the early stages of your career or have more experience.
Other required skills are; good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written, and experience from Microsoft office products such as Excel and Powerpoint. You also have a driver's licence.
It is a merit with experience from project management or experience from the defence industry. Our Business System (IFS) and imminent Project Management tool (Antura) are/will be a central part in our job, hence, having worked in these systems is a merit. Having worked with the financial system Agresso is also a merit since investigative work may include financial investigations. Hence, it is beneficial to have an analytical skill since preparation of decision material for potential prioritization decisions may require abililty to investigate and decode actual status for certain obligations.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will work with experienced professionals in an environment that depends on the necessity of close cooperation between several roles, functions and partners. Currently the Program department consist of 26 employees in two sections, Karlskoga and Linköping. You will be located at our premises in Linköping.
