We are looking for a Product Manager for our Electric Propulsion System Management ART within EMOB, who will technically lead the development of the ART.
We need a person with a broad project management and product development knowledge. You should have a positive attitude, be proactive and be a good team player. You will have several Agile Product Owners in your team; therefore, you need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to take the decisions on higher level and take on the responsibility for the ART 's technical solutions.
The area where this ART is working is Electric Management System, which is not only the batteries, neither only the electrical motor nor the charging system but all these areas are combined into a system together with drivability and serviceability on the aftermarket. We are integrating the part and make it a fully functional system.
What you will do
You will be mainly responsible for content and priorities for the ART Program Backlog, as well as for identifying customer needs, prioritizing features and developing the Program/ART Vision and Roadmap for the future. Same goes for specific features, where you need to accept and approve the completion, as well as develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
This can only be done by working closely with the System Chief Engineer and Product Owners to understand and prioritize the work within the ART. Further you need to work closely with stakeholders, others ART 's both within your organization and outside EMOB to understand the needs.
Furthermore, you work with Epic Owners to develop the business case for Epics that affect your ART and understand and support portfolio artifacts like budget.
You will be the ART representative in different forums and working closely with the Release Train Engineer and the ART Line Management to secure the deliveries.
You and your skills
We believe you have a Master of Science degree and relevant work experience. You have a in-depth knowledge about product development, extensive project management experience as well as strong degree of business acumen in combination with the technical understanding of the area.
You have several years of documented leadership experience from project management or development of systems, functions, SW and component. Your strong communication skills will help you to excel in this role, make strong collaboration with connected partners and together get to the best solutions. Hence having a positive attitude and team spirit will play an important role in achieving your goals. You are off course fluent in English and comfortable collaborating on global level.
You are a person who can be a role model for both leaders and employees by putting the needs of others first and helping people develop and perform as efficient as possible. You are decisive, structured and comfortable with defining work plans and coordinating it with other stakeholders, as well as having the ability to set direction of future vision. Furthermore, we believe you are self-motivated leader of technical development, but also someone able to build strong Volvo Group culture including continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
