PLM Specialist / Coordinator
As PLM Specialist and Coordinator at Biotage your main responsibilities will be to manage and execute Product Life Cycle Engineering tasks and Product Care activities. You will be responsible for continuous improvements in the form of non-Product Development driven product updates & cost reductions. In the role you are also responsible for improvements in our technical supplier qualifications. You participate in and drive the transfer of product changes, new products and production transfers between sites or organizations when needed as well as support production with Manufacturing and Supply automation.
Qualifications:
Broad technical expertise, at least 5 years of experience in engineering Master of Science in Engineering Physics and Mechatronics.
Good command of English and Swedish, both oral and written.
Ability to establish broad, technical requirements specifications and associated functional level systems designs; including mechanics, electronics and software.
Experienced in writing technical reports.
Ability to provide test and verification plans, carry out verification and subsequent documentation of the results.
Ability to easily interpret technical specifications and reports.
Good understanding of hardware/firmware programming.
Possess a well-developed practical orientation of the engineering work such as managing peripherals, installations, wiring, etc (lab based hands-on work).
Ability to use oscilloscopes.

You need to be self-sufficient as well as a good team player. In order to be successful we also believe you are able to perform in a busy work environment and under pressure of deadlines. We also expect that you have a sense of business awareness and are service minded.
