• Design and implement software, and support the definition of the software architecture for different safety subsystems.
• Create the necessary documentation (software design documents).
• Define test specifications in close cooperation with team involved in verification and validation.
• Prepare and carry out functional verification of the software and its components (test applications, unit tests).
• Review code from other subsystems.
• Bugfixing
• Support documentation specialists regarding operation manuals.
• University degree in computer science / information technology / electrical engineering with strong focus on software.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in using Siemens TIA portal programming tools, including HMI development.
• Experience in programming safety PLC programs in accordance with functional safety standards.
• Good knowledge in the field of IEC 61508 and/or IEC 61511 standards.
• Experience in documenting the software development process.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
