You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Tasks
The Control & Protection department is responsible for deliveries, testing and commissioning of the control platform utilized by HVDC. As Platform System Integrator you will work around the world and have the opportunity to participate in large projects, from tendering to commissioning. Requirements
You hold at least a B.Sc. preferably within Computer Science. Certifications in Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft SQL server and Cisco networking equipment are highly advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of electric power, as well as experience of project management and communication systems or industrial control systems. It is an advantage with general programming skills in C, C++, C#, and preferably also in Wonderware Archestra/Intouch, ABB MicroSCADA or similar. Since we work in an international environment you need to master spoken and written English. Knowledge of Swedish and other languages are considered an additional qualification. As a person you have a passion for technology and the right inner drive to take on full responsibility for your scope and ensure deliveries on time. You are used to making decisions and are a genuine team player who seeks and enjoys collaboration with coworkers and business partners.
