Do you want to go to work and help create a better life at home?
With us, you can feel at home at work while sharing that feeling with millions of people around the world. We encourage you to stand up for yourself and others, creating an environment where everyone feels welcome. We invite you to open new doors, embrace mistakes, and grow from them. As our Platform Specialist, you will have many opportunities to try things you have never done before.
About the role
Every day, thousands of IKEA audiences turn to our corporate communication channels to find information about us as a company or support in their daily work.
We are looking for a Platform Specialist who ensures content is easy to find, easy to use, and connected across our digital corporate communication channels to create real value and keep audiences coming back.
You will be at the heart of how we work with content across our digital corporate channels-supporting the full journey from planning and creation to optimising, publishing, maintaining, and retiring content over time. You will help to improve the quality, consistency and impact of what we put out, with a strong digital and channel perspective and real user needs at the centre.
If you care about clear writing, well-structured channels, and the details that make content genuinely useful, this could be the role for you.
What you will be doing:
Strengthening our digital corporate communication channels by improving their structure, how content flows, and how we measure value.
Planning, creating and publishing clear, user-friendly content across our defined corporate communication channels.
Making sure information is easy to find, easy to understand and genuinely useful.
Safeguarding clarity, consistency and the IKEA tone of voice across everything we publish.
Bringing a digital and editorial mindset to communication plans across the business.
Working closely with stakeholders and fellow communicators to keep raising the bar on how we work and what we put out on our internal channels.

About you
You have a strong sense for digital content and the channels it lives in. You care about clear writing, well-structured content and the small details that make a channel feel trustworthy. You like working hands-on, you are comfortable in digital tools, and you enjoy turning a messy brief into something relevant for intended target audiences. You bring a curious, proactive mindset and feel at home in the IKEA culture and values.
To be successful in this role, we believe you bring:
Solid experience in content creation, editing and channel management, ideally in a corporate communication or digital content environment.
A strong eye for clear, structured, user-friendly writing, and the discipline to keep content consistent across channels.
Hands-on experience with digital publishing tools e.g. AI-tools, intranets (Sitecore/SharePoint), newsletters, digital signages or similar channels, and an interest in how content performs once it is live.
The ability to work across the full content lifecycle: planning, creation, publishing, optimisation and continuous improvement.
A good understanding of stakeholder needs and target-group-driven communication.
Strong self-leadership and the ability to collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts and fellow communicators.
Familiarity with the IKEA identity, tone of voice, core values and vision, or the ability to pick them up quickly.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Additional Information
This role is full-time (40 hours per week) based in Delft, the Netherlands or Malmö, Sweden. This role sits in the Enabling Functions, Communication area, and reports to the Communication Manager.
Ready to assemble your next step?
Submit your CV and let us know why you would be a good fit for this role by end 4th of June 2026. All roles that are not filled during the Internal process will be re-open to externally.
Please also note that we only handle applications in English and do not accept applications coming in by email.

Even if your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. We believe that people's different perspectives, backgrounds, and personalities make us better at understanding our customers dreams and needs. At IKEA, we're all on the same project.
