This is how a Platform Engineer works in Hjärtat
We are inviting you to join our growing Platform Infrastructure team, characterized by the broad and strong knowledge in Cloud- based solutions. In this role, you will support, and develop Apotek Hjärtat's development and infrastructure platform, support and onboard the development team, and set requirements towards ICA. The Platform Engineering team provides our core cloud infrastructure as well as engineering productivity and reliability tools and practices to enable us deliver great services with ease. You will help us develop our next-generation cloud architecture, while working with senior technical leads, and closely with other development teams to understand common needs, automate processes within Infrastructure Operations and security configuration. You will work with virtual infrastructure and platforms based on .Net, Kubernetes, Kafka and other tools. You will use your expertise to pave the way forward in how we work with cloud infrastructure.
This is you
We are looking for you who have a broad knowledge in IT. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you're expected to be familiar with at least one of the big cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You have a broad knowledge, having tackled architecture-related questions. You have experience working with infrastructure for 5 years or more. You have good experience working with Kubernetes and are interested to continue, and you have experience working with Kafka. You have experience with CI/CD pipelines. As we are in a regulated environment, we consider it a plus if you are used to working with regulatory questions. If you have worked with micros services in some way, we see it as a plus.
The position entails on call, so it is good if you have worked in similar way before.
Fluency in English is a must, but Swedish or the willingness to learn it is viewed as a big plus.
