We are now looking for an engineer to strengthen our "Platform Enablement" team. You will join a diverse team with different seniority levels, a perfect storm for learning and sharing!
Job Description
In this position you will develop standardized components for a secure, reliable, and highly available platform - while always keeping an eye on our tech radar to adopt new components, technology, and tooling.
Furthermore, you will develop automation toolings and preassembled configurations to make a better developer experience for the users of our standardized components.
You will collaborate on building a modern microservice-based system running on Kubernetes in AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Additionally, you will improve deployment automation following the principles for Infrastructure as Code and enhance platform monitoring and alerting to scale the platform to multiple markets and millions of users worldwide. Like always, working on solidifying our security posture is included.
Qualifications and personal qualities

Hands-on experience with any programming language and software development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and building CI/CD pipelines
• We are an international organization so fluency in English is required
• Taking initiative and drive to evolve the platform's infrastructure to support our rapid business growth and compliance needs
• Curiosity, being analytic with a passion for problem-solving, as well as a good communicator
Environment and tools
Since the pandemic, the tech team has been working remotely, and the team intends to stay remote; however, we do like to go to the office once every few weeks to see each other in three dimensions and run some workshops. Daily we use Slack, Google Meet, GitHub, and Favro to organize our work and communicate. We also offer you a laptop and phone and any other office equipment you might need. We don't dictate what software you use to get your work done, so you get to pick the OS and tools that best suit you.
