hela Sverige Right now, we are looking for a Platform Data Engineer to contribute towards the creation of our New Target Architecture. I am Muhammad Raqib Rafique and I am leading Platform Services unit within Data & Analytics IT SE, at Telia Company. My team is responsible for building the Future Analytics Foundation for Telia Company's Analytics, BI and AI domain.

Using modern technologies and market leading solutions, you and your team will be responsible for developing Target Architecture across cloud and on-prem - pushing for a truly data-driven organization.
A typical day of work would be to develop secure and robust data pipelines across cloud and on-prem using market leading technologies and toolsets. Automation is no longer optional; you will also leverage AI and Machine Learning on a regular basis to build operationally intelligent platforms and solutions delivering high performance computing capabilities across the BI and Analytics domain.
Who are you?
You have recent development experience as a data engineer in building modern data architectures. You think beyond the existing methods and solutions. You are passionate about applying technology to improve user experience. Best practice is a natural part of your thinking, you always want to learn more and excel at what you do.
Your personality:
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are self-motivated, efficient, responsible and structured in your way of working.
Team player with the ability to handle a variety of situations
Good communicator in English, spoken and written.
Your Experience:
Hands-on experience of creating and maintaining data pipelines in public cloud (AWS) as well as on-prem.
Fluent in Scala, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Python, SQL, Bash, data modeling, data lakes etc.
Working knowledge Git, Jenkins, Docker, Maven.
Experience in Kinesis, NIFI, RESTful API, CQRS will be an advantage.
