Platform and Architecture team is looking for a new colleague with passion and energy to help us to lead the development of the platform and vehicle architectures for all brands and ranges.
The team consists of skilled platform and geometrical architects who study different architectural alternatives in preparation for new technologies and future needs, such as: zero emission vehicles, new emission legislations and new vehicle configurations. We cooperate as a team on many parallel topics, and we support each other when needed.
What will you be doing?
The Platform Architect - Offering Manager will develop, define, maintain, and oversee the architectural offering to be in line with the product and architectural roadmaps, covering all brands and product classes. This is done by studying the platform offering and different roadmaps, reviewing the needed modular and functional performance steps and make the necessary updates to the architectural offering road map.
In this role you will also analyze the current and future offering with respect to variation and combinations of main vehicle modules. You will document architecture offering over time, both as offering per different architectures and as well as combination of offering. Furthermore, the role includes:
Collaborate with technology and vehicle streams to define current and future offering in each area.
Work together with Product definition team within CAST and within product structure teams in the site organizations
Developing the method for architecture offering documentation
Identify future needs for architectural variants and variant families
Documentation of branding of architecture offering
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has a drive and energy, and who can manage and structure the necessary architectural offering over time. You are analytical and structured as you will work with a complex product diversity, and you need to identify and structure complex offering and dependencies.
A Platform Architect is a senior position which means that you probably have good knowledge in the KOLA tool and in existing product classes, product types, variants and variant families and offering. To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a good insight in the current vehicle architectures and its offering and how it has evolved over time with its strengths and weaknesses. We also believe you have a good understanding of customer applications and requirements. Other important competencies for this position:
The ability to structure complex offering over time.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Ability to collaborate with others and balancing different viewpoints.
The ability to use various software solutions and tools to find and express offering over time.
