hela Sverige The work:As a team leader, you or your team, on the basis of drawings/sketches and your supervisor's directive plan and perform the plate works the ship repair requires. It is, among other things, about cutting off damaged steel of the hull, measuring and replacing with newly manufactured details. It can also include remodeling or new manufacturing of ship sections. The work can be done in confined spaces and at heights.The most common welding methods are MMA and MIG/MAG. The work is usually carried out at our facility in Landskrona, but there may also be occasional business trips within Europe. Your work must maintain the quality the customers requires, and you are expected to perform a thorough self-inspection. We see that you care for our equipment and that you keep your workplace in good order. Each vessel is run as a project, which is led by a project manager together with a number of employees. The pace is high, and each project lasts on average 7 to 10 days. Although everyone has their strict roles with their tasks, the feeling is that we work in an informal organization. We help each other where needed and the working climate is cheerful and easy going Requirement:We require proper education in plate fitting and at least 5 years of experience from similar work in ship repair business.You should have good physics as there are lot of stairs, long walking distances and work is performed in confined spaces and at heights Furthermore, you need to be punctual, be able to handle flexible and irregular working hours. It is required your English has a good level in both verbal and writing. It is an advantage if you speak Swedish/Norwegian/Danish. Driver license B
