As Lead Engineer - Running Production you will be part of Plastal's Advanced Engineering team. You will be technical responsible for changes made after launch and in running production. You will play an important part solving technical issues and have interactions both towards clients as well as internally. In this position you will work towards all of Plastal's customers and all manufacturing sites. As the link between customers and production you will for instance work with weekly follow-up meetings with customers, perform root cause analysis as well as co-ordinate and plan necessary changes in running production and secure the lessons learned process.
You will be based at the headquarters in Gothenburg and report to the Advanced Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
• BSc or MSc within Polymer-, Materials- or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Professional experience in design and manufacturing of plastic components and surface treatment technologies.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience such as development or production related tasks.
• Knowledge in Catia V5 and PLM systems.
• Well oriented in QM-techniques, e.g. FMEA.
• Experience from the Automotive industry.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and oral.
We are looking for a methodical and analytical person with a genuine technical interest. Since you will be in close collaboration with both our clients as well as towards internal stakeholders within Plastal you need to be social, communicative and collaborative.
