As Lead Engineer - Product Development you will be a part of Plastal's Product Development team. You will be the technical support to the Project Managers from the early phases of the projects to start of production. Your responsibility includes technical support when industrialization of a new product. You will have both internal as well as external collaborations in order to coordinate and solve any technical issues that might occur to secure a high quality product. This means you will work towards all Plastal's clients and plants.
You will report to Manager Product Development.
Qualifications
• BSc or MSc within Polymer-, Materials- or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Professional experience in design and manufacturing of plastic components and surface treatment technologies
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience such as development or production related tasks.
• Knowledge in Catia V5 and teamcenter
• Well oriented in QM-techniques, e.g. FMEA,DFM and DFA
• Experience from the Automotive industry
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and oral
We are looking for a methodical and analytical person with a genuine technical interest. Since you will be in close collaboration with both clients as well as towards internal stakeholders within Plastal you need to be social, communicative and collaborative.
